Page last updated Tuesday November 30, 2010 7:00 PM ET. Subject: WilderHill New Energy Global Innovation Index (NEX) update From: Josh Landess Date: Tue, 30 Nov 2010 08:38:20 -0700 Hello: As discussed via public notification and in nightly test-file dissemination, and as posted at our partnership website, as of Wednesday December 1, our Index and its variants will be calculated by the New York Stock Exchange, and will no longer be calculated by Dow Jones Indexes. The reason that I am writing is to emphasize (at the risk of redundancy) a couple of key points: 1. First, quarterly rebalancing information will be announced and linked publicly at this page: http://www.amex.com/amextrader/dailylist/indexes.jsp Those who in the past received an email from Dow Jones that contained quarterly rebalance files will now receive an email from the New York Stock Exchange notifying them to go to a web page where they can find the information. While we will continue to archive quarterly rebalance and other event information at our partnership website, this will no longer be done simultaneously with the official public posting by our calculation agent. Index followers who require timely notification of events and rebalancings should not count on our web page events page for timely posting of that information. Anyone concerned to verify that they will receive notifications, or for other related questions, please contact: >Dwijen A. Gandhi >Global Index & Exchange Traded Products >NYSE Euronext, Inc. >20 Broad Street, 10th Floor | New York, NY 10005 >Office +1-212-656-4468 >Email dgandhi@nyx.com 2. Second, those who in the past accessed NEX information via Dow Jones FTP services, and those companies which have had programmers automate some of the reading of that information, will need to make certain that they have the new FTP link, which is here: ftp://ftp.amex.com/ETF/ETFIssuers/NEX This link requires no special login or password information for access. Test files have been posted there, but will be removed as we go into the calculation agent changeover. Once official files are created, they will be posted there. While it may be tedious to receive from us some redundant information, the above two points seem like two top areas where it is better to be clear and avoid any confusion. Other information relating to the switchover in calculation agents can be accessed at these links that we have posted at our website: http://nexindex.com/nqactions/20101119_notice.html http://nexindex.com/nqactions/20101119notice/Client%20Notice%20NEX.pdf http://nexindex.com/nqactions/20101118_notice.html As we approach our quarterly rebalancing, I want to make the upcoming change in public announcement and public information access procedures clear. Other than that, it remains to state whom to contact with further questions: Other than contacting Dwijen Gandhi at NYSE Euronext, here are contact points for further information.
