Global NEX since 2006, like ECO Index since 2004 are each benchmarks and the originals in their fields. With new Hydrogen (H2X), and Wind (WNX) all 4 are pure play leaders.

This passive theme basket also gives helpful access to a broad range of diverse exchanges outside of the U.S., that would otherwise be inaccessible to many. An independent exchange traded fund that tracks it is available for the global NEX in the U.S., in Europe and elsewhere.
